Loakan Charity Foundation, Inc. is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that carries the Philippine Military Academy's tradition of service and honor back to the community surrounding it in Loakan, Baguio City. Through the LEAP Scholarship, we open the door to college for academically gifted Filipino youth whose families cannot afford it, so that talent, not circumstance, decides their future.

From a circle of five friends to a foundation that has granted 61 scholarships.

1999–2004
The Formative Years
DJLF begins as a club of five and grows to 55 committed members.
2005
LEAP Launches
The Youth Scholarship Program awards its first batch of scholars.
2006–2008
Deep Roots
Scholars serve their communities and train as leaders in Loakan and Baguio.
2009–Today
Consolidate & Expand
Stages III and IV of our Strategic Plan carry the mission forward.
2018
